Worksite Location: Uniondale, NY (hybrid: 3 days onsite)
Salary Range: $120,000-140,000
What you’ll do as the Associate Insurance Account Executive Construction:
Provide mentoring and training to less experienced staff to support the immediate supervisor and service team
Support day to say service activity for those team members.
Initiate renewal process for existing clients, and discuss and create renewal strategy
Analyze and compare current exposures and develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing; and present renewal strategy plan
Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy
Conduct all steps of the renewal process including oversight of the support team
Review policy and determine appropriate coverage; identify possible deficiencies
Bind insurance coverage and prepare binders and/or delegate certificate issuance
Monitor clients' accounting history and be responsible for keeping it account current
Drive the claims process for assigned accounts
Notify the producer or service team of pertinent information related to client retention
Comply with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
What you’ll bring to the Associate Insurance Account Executive Construction role:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 7+ years of related work experience in insurance industry, specifically construction specialty
Valid Property and Casualty Insurance License - State of New York
Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal
Superior verbal and written communication skills
Advanced planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
Ability to supervise and lead less experienced staff
Excellent technical skillset and knowledge of the insurance marketplace and highly fluent in all lines of insurance for assigned book
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Applied Epic
