As our People Partner, you will be the key HR contact and the face of the HR department for the hourly employees at our West Nyack and Congers plants. In addition to directly supporting our employees, you are the liaison between our Line Managers and our third-party HR support, acting as the first point of contact for all employee relations and general HR inquiries.

What You’ll Do:

Plant HR Generalist will be the key HR contact and the face of the HR department for the plant employees. She/he is responsible for supporting day-to-day operations in all aspects of the business.

administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity and attendance; occupational health and safety; training and development; and employee recognition and engagement.

a positive employee relations environment through close engagement and interaction with all employees across the site.

with leadership on employee relations matters including investigations, corrective action, employee complaints and career counseling. Drive site engagement and continuous improvements across HR policies.

end-to-end HR solutions/rollouts and project teams from inception to completion.

the medical accommodation process affirmative action plans to be aligned with federal and state laws.

the new hire onboarding process to include safety, quality, continuous improvement, and operation teams.

compliance training to all hourly workers and follow-up SOP training delivery by line leaders.

implementation and monitor compliance of existing company policies and programs such as postings, orientation, retention, exit interviews and revisions to employment documentation and orientation materials.

assist with recruiting, interviews, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; as a backup to the Talent Acquisition Specialist, may collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Degree, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or related field and/or 3-4 Year’s Manufacturing Employee Relations or Plant HR experience preferred.

relations and grievance handling experience preferred.

have solid experience in HR operations inclusive of Employee Relations experience (investigations and performance management).

to analyze data to make key decisions to drive performance.

the ability to design, implement/execute, and measure the impact of organizational interventions.

to flex schedule as needed to accomplish activities as necessary in the plants.

navigating and using an HRIS system, such as UKG and/or SuccessFactors.
