Commercial Asset Manager

We've partnered with a CA-based development & investment firm looking to bring on a Commercial Asset Manager for their growing O&M team. The company is backed by decades of real estate development, and the team has spent the last few years divesting into the utility-solar markets (with 1.2 GW of operating assets to show for it!) Unlike a traditional legacy developer, the team focuses on agile processes, with the funding to push for swift development and construction.

As a Commercial AM, you will maintain the operations of their CA portfolio, ensuring project data is submitted and correctly accounted for, handle operational reporting, manage contract negotiations and compliance, and handle on-site inspections and tests.

Responsibilities

Maintain an active O&M portfolio, and ensure the project receives specific technological and geological maintenance

Keep track of operational schedule and budgets

Cross-collaboration with Originations, Legal, Accounting, Project Finance, Procurement, and SCADA teams.

Craft and analyze operating reports, actual to budget reports, as well as annual operating budgets.

Qualifications

2+ years of utility-scale solar experience (BESS experience is a plus)

~4 years of O&M / asset management

Understanding of engineering maintenance processes / familiarity with engineering language

$120-150k Base + 20-25% bonus

This role is on-site in their Los Angeles HQ, but will transition to a hybrid role as employees get their feet under them.
