Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Occupational Therapist with experience in Hand Therapy to join our team in Norman, OK. The successful candidate will work with patients who have suffered hand injuries or conditions, helping them to regain their strength, flexibility, and dexterity.

Responsibilities:

- Perform assessments on patients to determine their needs, limitations, and abilities

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients recover from hand injuries or conditions

- Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve patients' strength, flexibility, range of motion, and dexterity

- Teach patients how to perform daily activities with their hands, such as eating, dressing, and grooming

- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients

- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with new developments in hand therapy

Requirements

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy

- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Oklahoma

- Certification in Hand Therapy preferred

- At least 2 years of experience in hand therapy

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality patient care
