Cardinal Equipment Services (CES) provides services such as remanufacturing, refurbishing and repair services (including preventative maintenance, reactive repair, and equipment movement) for beverage companies, OEMs, FLOs, Independent Fountain Operators, and other Asset Heavy Customers.

CES was founded in 2021 and is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.

General Description / Job Summary:

The Field Service Technician - Refrigeration will provide support to the Cardinal Equipment Service Department performing essential refrigeration and mechanical duties and department functions. This role will primarily be responsible for refrigeration related assignments including ice makers, draft beer and remote cooled refrigeration equipment. As needed, this position will support beverage equipment installation, removal, repair, and relocation. Additional responsibilities include parts and equipment accountability, resource management, customer relations, job site surveys and collaborating closely with customers and co-workers. This position will occasionally require flexibility to work various schedules and travel with overnight lodging is possible.

Primary Duties:

· Refrigeration Troubleshooting and Repair – Accurately Maintain EPA Records.

· Ice Maker and Beverage Equipment Installation, Removal, Move and Repair

· Parts and Equipment Accountability

· Maintain Positive Customer and Co-worker Relationships.

· Record and account for billable time, parts and services related to work assignments.

· Position requires flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and travel as required to include multiple days/nights.

· Book and schedule travel arrangement as required. Complete expense reports per guidelines

· Comply with all Company/DOT vehicle policies. Smith-System, Geotab, Lytx (Dashcams), etc.

· Adhere to company policies, guidelines, and safety requirements.

Desired Work Experience:

· 2+ year of Refrigeration/HVAC

· Basic Plumbing and Electrical

· Ice Maker Installation, Troubleshooting and Repair

· Basic computer skills

· Valid Drivers’ license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

Education Requirements:

· High school diploma or GED required.

· HVAC Certification

Certification Requirements:

· HVAC

Work Environment:

· Customer accounts, theme parks, cruise ships both indoors and outdoors

· Overnight Travel Potential - 10%

· Equipment Used: Basic hand tools, handheld computer, lift carts, ladders, electric and battery drills, saws, refrigeration tools and supplies.

· Physical effort required in job: Heavy lifting, bending, climbing, and stretching.

· Potential of working in tight and cramped spaces
