Job Description
Prepare proposals and maintain project records.
Expand and grow business by initiating new work from existing clientele.
Investigate and communicate opportunities for other departments.
Translate customer requirements into project strategy.
Create project budgets and monitor project against budget to address variances and ensure project stays in scope and is profitable.
Manage project schedule and deliverables.
Finalize project invoices within a specific timeframe, as defined by management.
Coordinate with project team members on task assignments and completion requirements.
Ensure team members bill to appropriate job number, task and bill rate.
Coordinate with different departments for scheduling and work completion.
Ensure effective production of project deliverables.
Schedule client meetings and coordinates Site Meetings/Site Visits.
Handle External Correspondence and keeps client informed of progress and changes; enforce project standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills and will have a minimum of 6 years' experience in managing municipal wastewater and storm water management, Site Development or Natural Gas Distribution System Design projects.
Experience with regulatory permitting, proposal preparation, project and client management, and proficiency in the use of engineering software including Civil 3D
