Summary: U.S. Nameplate Co. is seeking a motivated individual to join our Fabrication Department as an Operator. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn and cross train on various machines including LVD, Stamtec Punch Presses, Tool grinding, Strip Processing, and Clamshell. Factory experience and familiarity with machining processes are advantageous. Blueprint reading and math skills required. The Operator will be responsible for safely operating machines, troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with other duties as needed to support the company's goals and values.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate machinery including LVD Strippit, Stamtec Punch Presses, Tool grinding, Strip Processing, and Clamshell.

Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement solutions to ensure continuous operation.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company housekeeping standards.

Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of parts.

Utilize calipers and micrometers to verify part dimensions and specifications.

Cross train on various machines within the Fabrication Department.

Perform any additional duties required to support the company's vision, mission, and values.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a factory environment is preferred.

Basic understanding of machining processes is beneficial.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Blueprint reading and math skills required.

Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.

Excellent attention to detail and precision.

Ability to lift and move materials as needed.

Willingness to learn and cross train on various machines.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
