Role Profile
This position is responsible for overseeing SAP data as it pertains to pricing and customer master information. This person works cross-functionally to provide support throughout the business for all sales channels and all brands.
Principal Responsibilities
Oversees the pricing request process across all brands and channels
Update/maintain pricing on customer net sheets, fixed nets, scheduled pricing, show special pricing, and quotes as requested by channel manager with finance approval
Run year-end pricing audits and communicate to sales channels for evaluation of special price and end date
Execute the pricing process with price increases and manage the workflow collaborating closely with Finance, Product Management, Channel Owners and Sales Managers. This includes running territory price reports with current and new pricing to receive approval from sales managers prior to loading into the system.
Assists with the creation of Finance approved pricing entries in SAP, when needed
Responsible for setting up new and existing customer accounts in SAP
Communicates master data changes to appropriate channels as needed
Maintains partner information in SAP, specifically for EDI accounts ensuring all inbound & outbound operations are processed successfully. Perform annual audits of buying groups and national accounts prior to rebate payments.
Works to resolve EDI Idoc errors due to customer & material master issues
Maintains customer material cross references
Acts as a point of contact for all customer master & pricing related requests
Assists with project-based work including SAP integrations
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Expertise
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
Exceptional troubleshooting skills
Ability to quickly adapt to change
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Strong organizational skills with large amounts of data
Ability to multi-task effectively and meet deadlines
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong active listening abilities
Experience in Business Management Software (i.e. SAP) is preferred but not required
Competencies
Need to possess strong interpersonal, ability to communicate effectively, work efficiently, independently with accuracy, maintain confidential information, exercise sound judgment, make accurate and timely decisions, the ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment, and have strong analytical and problem solving skills.
