Bilingual Medical Assistant’s Responsibilities

Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, and other important information such as test results.

Assist in dialysis procedures.

Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat and clean.

Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.

Set up instruments and equipment according to department protocol.

Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, or physicians' instructions to patients and their caregivers.

Must be comfortable floating between different clinics (Museum District, Pasadena, Baytown, Clear Lake, Southeast Memorial Pearland)

Bilingual Medical Assistant’s Qualifications

A High School Diploma or GED is required.

A minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, experience in Nephrology or Primary Care is highly preferred.

Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

A Medical Assistant diploma is required; A National Medical Assistant Certification is highly preferred.

Willingness to commute between different locations (Museum District, Pasadena, Baytown, Clear Lake, Southeast Memorial, and Pearland); A Valid Texas Driver’s License is required.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check.
