Our client, a manufacturer of modular buildings with a focus on residential, commercial, and affordable housing, net zero and mixed-use buildings, has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative.

This role will develop sales strategies, analyze data, meet with customers (builders, developers, architects), identify sales opportunities, and foster customer relationships to increase sales and revenue within a defined geographic area.

Responsibilities: Achieve sales goals by assessing client needs Leverage existing industry relationships and gain new territory Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business Maintain working relationships with clients and internal personnel Present services and capabilities to potential clients effectively (off-site construction experience a plus) Prepare professional, complete, concise, and accurate reports, proposals, and other documentation Requirements: Must have sales experience, preferably in residential construction 2+ years of construction estimating experience Firm understanding of the construction and specification process Highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of success Positive, solutions-oriented approach to all work Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in working with clients and vendors Effective prospecting and networking skills to qualify opportunities and grow new territory Proactive, well-organized, and reliable Proficient with Salesforce and sales management software Pipeline management and forecasting experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to travel at least 25% of the time throughout New England
