What You’ll Do

Samsung Semiconductor's Memory Marketing team is the place to be. We use deep customer and market insight, experience, and market-driven innovation to develop new product and solution concepts to our key customers. As we enter an evolution of AI, our memory and storage products dramatically impact, and shape accelerated computing requirements. With the high growth in memory needs, we are looking for a Demand Planning Analyst to lead all aspects of the demand planning process, influence supply/build planning, and help optimize allocation for Samsung DRAM products.

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA headquarters 3 days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.

Manage balance of quarterly demand forecast against the supply plan to meet regional objectives.

Establish customer allocation based on priorities while maximizing revenue and market share.

Create and develop historical customer sales trend against demand forecast to help steer supply and product mix planning.

Monitor demand trends and discuss variances in forecasts with Sales that impact demand forecast accuracy.

Pull and integrate weekly changes in forecast, product allocation, and inventory. Review variances in delta/gaps, provide recommendations for adjustments, and share with Segment Marketing for feedback/inputs.

Create weekly summary of revisions/modifications, email to headquarters on a weekly basis, and discuss with headquarters on a biweekly cadence.

Work closely with headquarters to understand lead-times, capacity, and product supply position to optimize demand balance and revenue.

Analyze demand forecast and supply against quarterly/annual objectives, highlight revenue impact, and recommendations on closing the any gaps.

What You Bring

Bachelor's and 10 years of experience, or an MS/MBA and 8 years of experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree required (EE, CS preferred, MBA preferred).

3+ years of experience in semiconductor supply/demand planning or hardware related technology.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and understanding of MRP systems Strong verbal and written communication skills are must, including excellent presentation and public speaking capability.

Strong analytical skills, ability to grasp complex financial, technical, and marketing information to develop strategies.

Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional global teams in multiple time zones.

High enthusiasm, self-motivated to execute strategies, and the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.

Base Pay Range

$137,375—$212,625 USD
