Job Description

Job Purpose:

The job of an Estimating Coordinator provides vital support to the Estimating team with day to day activities and tasks, such as tracking bid opportunities, requesting outside quotes, and assisting the Estimators.Key Responsibilities

Review documents, specifications, drawings, addendums and RFI responses to determine complete scope of work and required bid submittal documents.

Create bid folders and copy bid documents to them.

Develop sign counts as needed based on regulatory/code requirements

Assist Estimator with research on vendor pricing and subcontractor quotes.

Work with internal manufacturing and installation departments to ensure price development accuracy.

Develop and maintain relationship with vendors to obtain best pricing on work needed.

Meet with Sales and internal team for pre and post bid updates.

Enter all data into systems (Salesforce and Acumatica).

Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned by supervisor.Skills Qualifications

Microsoft Office knowledge and skills: Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Standard office administrative practices and procedures, including the use of standard office equipment.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Organizing, planning, and customer service orientation

Excellent attention to detail and problem solving.

Positive attitude, persistence, and a high level of integrity.

Ability to thrive in a self-driven, yet team orientated environment.

Flexible and possess cultural awareness.Education/Training/Experience

Minimum 1-year experience in Coordinator role, preferably in manufacturing or construction
