Job Description:

Symbiotic Services is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable - Cash Collections Specialist for a highly regarded leader in the label printing industry. This role involves significant responsibility in managing cash collections and accounts receivable tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle approximately 80% of tasks related to accounts receivable collections and cash applications.

Monitor the company's accounts receivable to identify and manage overdue accounts effectively.

Contact customers with overdue accounts to collect payments or negotiate installment payment plans.

Use various tools to locate customers who have relocated or changed contact information.

Maintain detailed records of contact attempts and any collected payments.

Resolve billing-related customer issues and complaints promptly.

Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of accounts and repayment progress.

Invoice shipments, manage invoicing adjustments, and ensure timely posting of line item payments.

Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to manage new and existing accounts, including the processing of credit applications.

Follow up on invoices, manage credit card payments, and handle live check payments, including deposits via desktop scanner.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.

At least three years of experience in Accounts Receivable.

Strong understanding of accounting practices and principles.

Proficient in using automated accounting programs and systems, including Microsoft Office.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Skilled in data entry and analysis with high accuracy and efficiency.

Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Regular requirement to talk or hear; frequent use of hands for typing and handling documents.

Occasional need to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms.

Occasionally required to lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.

This role typically has a low to moderate noise level.
