Overview:

The work of our client’s nurses is best described as remarkable. Their patients are people with serious or long-term behavioral health issues who count on them as they work towards healing and growth. In their facility, you'll provide nursing care, ward security, and treatment on a ward within their secured facility. Currently, they have multiple opportunities: day, swing, and night shift; full-time or on-call. Through great communication skills, you will develop long-term therapeutic relationships with patients. If the situation arises, you will safely and therapeutically intervene with patients utilizing assistance from their support team.

What you will be doing:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll provide direct skilled nursing care to adults experiencing behavioral health issues

Participate in treatment planning, administer medications, as well as implement and chart treatment interventions

Be a patient advocate for health maintenance and clinical care by monitoring conditions that may be detrimental to the care and treatment of your patients

What you must have:

A valid Washington State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse or the ability to obtain a valid license before employment

Two years of experience in caring for patients or residents in a hospital, school, or other treatment facilities
