WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

The Superintendent will work as an integral team member to support the successful execution and completion of our construction projects. The role will use construction methods and techniques to perform work. The best candidate will have experience in construction and various building processes and have extensive experience managing subcontractors on commercial construction projects up to $20M in revenue.

The Superintendent will:

Direct all work performed by subcontractors regarding scope, quality and means and methods of completion.

Ensure project scope changes are communicated and approved by the Project Manager/Project Engineer.

Maintain current uniform building code.

Ensure complete safety compliance, ensuring PPE is always worn and all subcontractors, visitors, vendors, employees are abiding OSHA regulations.

Always maintain a clean jobsite.

Ensure the project is on schedule and will be completed on or before the delivery date. Communicate updates, changes, or delays to schedule frequently and in coordination with the Project Manager and Project Engineer.

Have a complete understanding of the project plans, specs, shop drawings, terms of contract, schedule commitments, goals, and objectives.

Produce and maintain a 2 week look ahead schedule for all trades.

Document daily progress of job by utilizing construction management system to upload photos and notes.

Strive to achieve zero punch upon job completion.

Ensure the quality of work performed is of the highest standards and ensure finishes, furniture, and property are always protected and kept clean.

Provide a high level of customer service to owners by participating in OAC meetings and providing status updates.

Ensure company signage and required construction signage is posted prominently.

YOU WILL HAVE:

At least 5 years of experience as a Superintendent.

Experience using construction tools, machinery, equipment in a safe manner.

Some experience or knowledge utilizing standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Competency with Microsoft Office Outlook

Competency with Procore

The ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Proficiency in the English language

Excellent communication skills

Customer service oriented

Detail oriented.

The ability to lift, push, pull up to 75 lbs. and be able to stand, climb, bend frequently.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 - $140,000 annually. Full time positions will be eligible for a full healthcare benefit package after 60 days of employment and a safe harbor company 401k match starts after 90 days of employment. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.
