Program Manager

Seeking a talented Program Manager for a key role driving ongoing company growth through efficient R&D and NPI programs. This high-profile position regularly interfaces with all levels of the organization, including the executive team and is based on site at the company’s Rockford, IL facility.

Responsibilities include:

Interface with the customer to maintain alignment between customer expectations, company activities, and approved project scope.

Track program performance to planned schedule and budget using EVMS and other tools.

Manage program changes as they arise and adjust planned schedule and budget accordingly.

Promote and maintain ongoing cross-functional (Engineering, Accounting, Contracts, and Sales) communication and proactive collaboration to ensure successful team project execution.

Facilitate work with subcontractors, providing regular status updates to internal team.

Utilize the company’s New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and milestones to successfully guide program execution from design to qualification and production.

Create schedule, cost, and resource estimates to support proposals for new Engineering and NPI activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline required. Advanced degree or certification(s) a plus.

Knowledge of the business, in-depth understanding of the technology (motion control, actuators, aerospace components), and ability offer competitive solutions to customers.

Proven ability to work both as an individual and as a member of a high-performance team.

Demonstrated experience with planning and scheduling for multiple programs and multiple customers.

Ability to manage technical risk.

Familiarity with ISO 9000 or AS9100 practices.
