CNC Operator

Cardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for an experienced CNC Machine Operator for a large manufacturing client located in Clinton Township, MI. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met. Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18/hr. as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: 1st (Min) 50hrs per week Monday - Friday

Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:

Set up the hardware for CNC machines, installing and aligning fixtures and attachments guided by the software.

Monitor tools and attachments, ensuring that the parts are properly cooled and lubricated.

Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required

Maintains accurate records of time spent on each sequence of job.

Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements

Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery

Maintains safe work habits by adherence to safety policies referenced in the company policy manual including following Federal, State and Local regulationsPreferred Qualifications of the CNC Machine Operator:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or military service

Two years related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience on Hurco Machines or equivalent

Must have own tools.
