Waikiki Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacist

Pay rate for this role is $105,000 annually, Depending on experience

Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 40 hour work week

The Pharmacist supervises the pharmacy staff and is responsible for managing all Pharmacy Department activities while on duty, being mindful of all applicable laws and consistent with state and national standards. They will also be dispensing prescriptions and medication/medical supply orders. As well as review and enter orders and patient information into the pharmacy computer system, maintain pharmacy inventory, perform sales transactions and provide customer/patient/medical staff with appropriate information about medications, health insurances and other health care related services. They will also file accurate third-party insurance claims on paper and electronically, while assisting the Clinical Pharmacist with MTM cases that are related to drug dispensing and on other initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

● Must have a current Hawaii Pharmacist License in good standing.

● Must have current CPR and immunization training certificate.

● Must be able to work with multi-ethnic and multi-cultural staff and clients.

● Must be fluent in English.

● As required by the Hawaii State Board of Pharmacy to obtain and/or maintain a Pharmacist license.

General Duties include but are not limited to

● Reviews all new medication orders, ensures labels and orders are dispensed with the correct medication and appropriate quantity.

● Maintains inventory control and management and purchasing compliance.

● Assists in the monitoring and auditing of the 340B Drug Pricing Program.

● Ensures that employees perform duties in accordance with safety and health rules and standards and using safe work techniques.

● Practices and promotes quality customer service and departmental teamwork

● Other duties as assigned
