Waikiki Health is seeking a full-time Dental Clinic Manager

Pay rate for this role is $70,659.84 annually

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hour work week

The Dental Clinic Manager is responsible for supervising all Dental Assistants and Dental Assistants/Patient Services Representative. The Dental Clinic Manager is responsible for day-to-day clinic operations. Additionally, they’re responsible for all aspects of front office operations including scheduling, registration, eligibility, and collections.

Qualifications and abilities

• Previous experience working in a dental office setting is recommended.

• CDA/RDA or higher is strongly encouraged.

• High School Diploma.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Experiences in the health care industry or non-profit preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in dental insurance navigation including billing, preauthorizations, and estimates. General knowledge of all dental insurance carriers.

• 2 years FQHC experience

• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment, competency with current software applications and computer skills.

• Ability to comprehend office routines, regulations, and work with confidential information.

• Accurate, organized and able to complete tasks in a timely manner.

General Duties include but are not limited to

● On-site supervision of Dental staff, including Dental Assistants, Dental Assistants/PSR, students, and volunteers.

● Assumes a manager role in facilitating and coordinating clinic flow.

● Addresses client and staff concerns in a timely manner.

● Assists with deescalating volatile clients.

● Ensures program supplies are adequately stocked.

● Other duties as assigned
