Job Description
$40 - $55 hourlyResponsibilities:
Create individualized treatment plans that include goals and objectives for each patient
Assist with intervention for patients when a crisis occurs
Assess patients’ mental condition based on review of medical information, interviews, observation, tests, and collaboration with other staff members
Recommend community services or specialists for patients and family members in need
Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer the appropriate follow-up care
Assist with interventions for clients when crises occur
Perform clinical assessments
Assess client needs and work collaboratively within the practice and community
Meet with clients weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly, depending on the assessment of needs
Qualifications:
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must have 1-3 years of mental health experience in a clinical setting
Additional certifications required: CPR, BLS (Basic Life Support)
High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; masters degree preferred
Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required
Graduate degree and licensure in counseling, social work, or equivalent required

We seek to provide the highest level of counseling services in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. We have three locations - Cotswold, Matthews, and a new location in Harrisburg.
