Salary: $14.00 - $15.00

By State law, all positions that work with children require all three CHILD CLEARANCES be obtained prior to the first day of work. You should allow 4-6 weeks to obtain all clearances. If you work for at least one month, we will reimburse for the cost of the clearances ($60.25) that are obtained for you to work for us. Please see for more information.

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR (Seasonal Part-time)

REPORTS TO: GOLF COURSE SUPERINTENDENT

NATURE OF WORK

This part time, seasonal position assists with the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course grounds.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Safely and effectively operates all motorized mowing equipment including tractors, greens' mowers, trim mowers, tee mowers and rotary mowers.

Assists with preventative maintenance and repair of equipment.

Assists with repairs to the irrigation system.

Assists with scheduled turf aerification procedures.

Operates manual and power tools and equipment required to maintain the golf course.

Performs leaf and debris cleanup and removal.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs all other work assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Clear understanding of golf course maintenance procedures.

Clear understanding of golf course equipment repair and preventative maintenance.

Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Basic understanding of the game of golf.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or G.E.D.

At least one year of experience working at a golf facility.

State pesticide license preferred.

Exposure to potential Hazardous Conditions-Fumes & Chemicals (Rarely 0-30%)

Exposure to extreme weather conditions (Frequently 60-90%)
