Shift Supervisor

based in Smith Falls to join our team. This is a great chance to join a Top Employer and contribute to our growth and success. Under the supervision of the Lead Supervisor, the Shift Supervisor will manage a team and plan production activities.

Schedule:

Continental Shift – 2 weeks days and 2 weeks of nights

Shifts:

12 hours

Tasks: Ensuring compliance with our high quality standards Ensure the management of the production team in place for the shift Apply and enforce occupational health and safety rules Ensure the smooth running of operations on production lines Review and submit production reports Inform managers of production trends Report any non-compliant situations and discuss the actions to be taken Ensuring sound management of discipline and labour relations Provide technical support when required Collaborate with quality and maintenance departments

Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in personnel management 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience managing unionized staff – An asset Knowledge of coil coating Good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards Excellent communication skills Strength for teamwork Positive Leader Ability to prioritize Problem-solving strength Results-oriented Recognized strength for work organization
