Salary: $50,000-$55,000

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working on a variety of marketing projects for the agency that are ongoing but require precise attention to detail and perpetual creativity to keep marketing fresh and brand awareness high. Marketing should always be focused on differentiating us from our competitors and maintaining our position as an industry leader in the union insurance marketplace. The Marketing Coordinator’s day-to-day activities include working cross-functionally with all departments to ensure the marketing programs are in line with company objectives.

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute marketing campaigns directed by the marketing manager.

Plan and coordinate logistics for UIG/industry events and conferences.

Create, design, and print or arrange professional printing of marketing collateral including but not limited to: brochures, hand-outs, presentations, and advertisements.

Help administer UIG websites and monitor online merchant portals.

Work cross-functionally with all departments to develop internal documents and templates to increase efficiency and maintain professionalism.

Attend regular meetings with the Marketing Manger and other required agency meetings.

Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent work in marketing and/or communications experience.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).

Experience with social media or website administration is preferred.

Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of constituencies, including clients, insurance companies and labor leaders.
