Responsibilities:
Experience processing payroll with an integrated payroll, tax filing, and onboarding system for at least 1,200 employees and growing
Advanced knowledge of payroll-related State and Federal regulatory requirements (FLSA/DOL and multi-states)
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies timely
Maintain and process data in systems according to established payroll processes and procedures; monitor records for pay irregularities
Maintain Payroll Spreadsheets and Imports
Facilitate internal cost reallocation relating to multiple cost centers
Prepare reports for Accounting/Finance
Assist in the preparation of reports/documents as requested by Auditors
Support Year End Payroll reconciliation and process adjustments in ADP WorkforceNow as needed
Analyze any changes to federal and state laws regarding compensation, and payroll
Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements
Flexible and able to persevere in a dynamic environment characterized by frequent change and refinement
Ability to thrive in a high-growth environment while juggling multiple responsibilities and meeting strict deadlines
Qualifications:
Significant knowledge of and/or experience with:
Professional Employment Organization (PEO)
HRIS software including ADP Workforce Now
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Time entry and processing
Benefit deductions and Wage Garnishment administration
Keen attention to detail and compliance
Strong problem-solving skills
