Position Summary:

Orlando Health is seeking an experienced Marketing and Project Management Specialist to support the Marketing & Communications team by organizing and implementing marketing programs and projects that increase and improve the health system’s awareness and reputation. Coordinates and oversees projects including development of collateral material and advertising campaigns; website updates; digital marketing, social media, video production; events and all other items that support the marketing needs of Orlando Health.

Key Responsiblities:

Responsible for coordinating the creation and execution of marketing projects, ensuring that timelines are met.

Monitors project progress, manage changes to scope, timelines and costs, and communicate regularly with client of progress and risks.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

Works with Marketing & Communications leadership to execute multiple marketing and communication projects with specific deadlines. Able to maintain challenging timelines while ensuring brand standards, quality, and efficiency.

Provides creative input on projects.

Gathers information, materials and resources needed to implement key projects.

Assembles and coordinates project teams including operations, finance, human resources, vendors, and others to support marketing and communication initiatives.

Prepares the background materials required and facilitates meetings.

Ensures excellent customer service and successful working relationships with team members, customers, vendors, and community leaders.

Maintains records and reports necessary for the brand and content/communications director to keep executives and team members informed of activities.

Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.

Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions

Works as a team with other professionals within Strategic Communications and Brand Marketing and other internal and external customers with special projects as needed and requested.

Other duties as assigned.

Ability and desire to work with a project management system.

Qualifications:

Education/Training

Bachelor degree in business, communications, advertising, journalism or similar field.

Licensure/Certification

None

Experience

Two (2) years marketing or communications related experience either in a corporate or advertising agency setting or 2 years of experience in a business environment.

Excellent writing and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe software

Excellent organizational, prioritization and decision-making skills.

Good communications, interpersonal and leadership skills
