Therapy/Clinical Aide

Overview:

The primary purpose of the position is to assist virtual SLP with transporting students to therapy, facilitating therapy sessions

Qualifications:

Educational Aide

Facilitator position to begin August 2024

Excellent position for a SLPA student or recent graduate

Coordinate Therapy Schedule with Virtual Speech Language Pathologist

Escort children to and from virtual session to computers to help with logins and manage behavior and attention for session

Setting up technology and trouble shooting

Facilitate communication with teachers regarding scheduling

Clerical duties of filing SP Paperwork in Cumulative Files and Speech work folders. Training will be provided.

Full time position – 35 hours/week

One Position 1: N Tampa area

We prefer someone with experience working with children, possible candidates who are currently in college pursuing degrees or certifications in Education, Early Childhood/Childcare, or getting their Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or Psychology possibly leading to working in therapeutic fields.
