Seasonal Maintenance Workers

Looking for a summer job where you can enjoy the outdoors while helping to make a positive impact in your local community?

Here at Lehigh County Authority in Allentown, PA, we are hiring a team of Seasonal Maintenance Workers! You’ll gain real-world maintenance experience while supporting the passionate team that provides high-quality, safe, and reliable water and wastewater services to the Lehigh Valley.

What the Job Looks Like

You’ll have variety in your work and will make significant individual contributions while also working with our team. Day to day, you’ll focus on:

Mowing grass and weed removal

Sanding and painting fire hydrants

Painting around LCA facilities

Minor building repairs

Assisting the team with projects

Important Qualifications to your Success

Age Requirements: LCA employees must be at least 18 years old

Licensure: Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (needed to operate company vehicles)

Scheduling: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm/7:00am-3:30pm, starting in May – ending in August

Skills: Must be safety focused, and able to work well independently and as part of a team

Work Environment: Will be required to work outside in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs., and stand for long periods
