About the role

Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for the group of companies.

Consolidation: Lead the process of consolidating financial data from subsidiary companies into a group-wide financial report.

Have a work style that must focus on accuracy and organization

Overseeing & performing month end processes

Assisting and identifying process improvement initiatives

Have the ability and a proactive attitude to work well under pressure

Prepares journal entries accurately for month end closing on a timely basis.

Ensures the journals are supported by adequate documentation and retained in an orderly manner in server.

Possess a sense of urgency and commitment to assigned deadlines

Comply with statutory reporting deadlines including monthly / quarterly / annual reports due to tax authority

Audit Preparation: Coordinate and facilitate annual financial audits, liaising with external auditors and ensuring a smooth audit process.

What you need to have

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; preferred qualifications include CPA or a similar professional certification.

At least 5 years of experience in an accounting role

Strong written and verbal English communications skills

Advanced excel skills

Strong accounting and analytical skills

Experience manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data

Able to thrive in an environment characterized by rapidly changing requirements and an ongoing focus on meeting operational objectives

Able to successfully manage multiple priorities

Strong commitment to company values and operating principles

Strong technical accounting, taxation and financial report knowledge

Experience in driving change and improving finance processes and controls to support business growth

Keen to learn with strong sense of responsibility towards meeting the goals / KPI assigned

Computer literate and competent in Microsoft office especially Excel

Resolving discrepancies

Communicate and responding with inquiries of suppliers/vendors

Daily data entry of transactions and compilation of documents

Reconciliations of statement of account

Highly organized with a high attention to detail

Payment processing and Journal Entry
