Role duties includes but is not limited to the following:
Prepare conceptual presentation sketches / plans / BIM models / images based on written project briefing or discussions.
Attend and participate in meetings with client groups (external and internal GHD clients)
Prepare detail drawings based on previous examples or more frequently concept sketch designs utilising advanced knowledge of relevant design, drafting and modelling principles
Participate in project design discussions with project teams, and assign work within a small team accordingly
Receive training in various phases of architectural office tasks, including design, drawings and studies
Coordination of drafting and visualisation work as assigned by senior staff
Manage own time for specific tasks
Manage the time and tasks of those placed under his/her direction
Manages own budget as set by the Job Manager
Assist the Project Architect (Job Manager) with preparation of project programs and time/cost estimates for specific project tasks as requiredMain responsibilities:
Provide BIM modeling, Structural and Architectural.
Coordinate and manage Revit models.
Create Revit families.
Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements from project managers.
Review all work for completeness and accuracy
Use checklists set-up for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines.
Complete printing and plotting requests.
Knowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software.
