As a Sales Agent for Container Yard Rental Services, your primary objective is to generate new business and drive revenue growth by acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. By effectively managing the sales process, building strong customer relationships, staying informed about market trends, and achieving sales targets, you contribute to the success and profitability of our container yard rental services.

Job Description:

1. Sales Generation

Actively prospect and generate leads to expand the customer base for container yard rental services.

Identify potential customers through market research, networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.

Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits and value of container yard rental services.

Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, nurturing relationships and converting them into customers.

2. Sales Process Management

Manage the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to closure, ensuring accurate and timely documentation and communication.

Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements to customers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure profitable deals.

Coordinate with internal teams, such as operations and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and smooth account onboarding.

3. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities related to container yard rental services.

Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and emerging opportunities.

Analyze competitors' offerings, pricing strategies, and value propositions to differentiate and position the company effectively in the market.

Provide feedback and insights to management on market trends, customer demands, and areas for improvement.

4. Sales Targets and Reporting:

Set and achieve sales targets, contributing to the overall revenue and growth objectives of the company.

Prepare regular sales reports, including pipeline updates, sales performance metrics, and revenue forecasts.

Participate in sales meetings, presenting progress updates, sharing insights, and collaborating with the sales team to drive collective success.

Continuously analyze sales strategies and results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; relevant certifications or training in sales are advantageous.

Proven experience in sales, MUST in the CONTAINER FREIGHT LOGISTICS industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey the value proposition of container yard rental services to customers.

Excellent negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and reach mutually beneficial agreements.

Customer-focused mindset with a genuine interest in understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.

Results-oriented with a drive for achieving targets and delivering business outcomes.

Proficiency in using Google, Microsoft Office tools and other sales tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess market dynamics, identify sales opportunities, and overcome challenges.

Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
