Responsible for the accomplishment of daily tasks set by Leadman by laying out, fitting and fabricating metal
components to assemble structural forms using knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering
requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible to tack-weld or weld components and assemblies, using different methods as specified by procedures,
layouts, blueprints, diagrams, work orders, or oral instructions.
2. Performs all necessary maintenance and repair on all equipment used in welding.
3. Ensures safe and effective operation and maintenance of assigned tools, plant and equipment associated with the job
using required Personal Protective Equipment.
4. Performs or assists in other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications:
1. Must be at least high school graduate, preferably with NCII, SMAW, and/or GMAW certification
2. Must have experience in copper, black iron, galvanized iron and other metal works
3. Must be able to perform welding works and associated with physical/manual labor tasks in a safe manner
4. Must be able to operate, maintain and work safely with hand tools, small plant and equipment
5. Willing to be assigned in different locations
