Survey Technician

Pickering, Corts & Summerson, Inc., an award winning, multi-disciplinary engineering/design firm has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our company as a Survey Technician in our Newtown, PA location.

Responsibilities Assist with and/or prepare Boundary, Topographic and Construction Surveys Operate surveying instruments such as total station, robotic, data collectors, GPS equipment, etc.

Qualifications Ability to work outside at varying locations including, construction sites and along roadways in varying terrain.

Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.

Experience with Civil 3D and/or MicroStation is desired.

Familiarity operating survey equipment, Total Station, Robotics, GPS, RTK, and other survey equipment and using their associated software.

Experience using Lecia and Topcon equipment, is a plus.

Experience performing survey calculations, upload, download, and process field data is desirable.

Experience preparing survey plans using CAD software.

2 years of experience is desired, but not required.
