Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

Local manufacturer that has been in business for over 20 years is looking for driven Machine Operators to join their team! Company is willing to train candidates with right attitude that are willing to learn.

OT opportunities available!

-Operates equipment to assist with production. Being mindful of minimizing waste

-Makes frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards and executes stop work authority when needed.

-Assists maintenance personnel on mechanical repairs and performs assigned preventative maintenance work.

-Maintains clean work area

-Completes and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner.

-Verifies raw material specifications prior to production runs as per company standards.

-Performs minor troubleshooting on production lines. Notify leads and supervisors of any major problems or questions.

-Properly identifies rework product and scrap produced.

-Communicates updates to incoming shift. Assists other operators as needed.

-Follows all established safety procedures

-Understands, follows, and enforces all established standard operating procedures (SOP"s).

-Participates in continuous improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.

Requirements

-2+ years in manufacturing as a machine operator is preferred. Will consider less with willingness to learn

-Team player with positive attitude

- Comfortable lifting 50 lbs

-Look for opportunities to improve manufacturing process

-Work under pressure in fast pace setting to meet deadlines

-Ability to work independently and follow given instructions

-Punctuality and attendance are key. Reliability is highly important.

-Excellent verbal and written communication

-Technically savvy with ability to learn computer systems
