Description:

$3,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

This position will require traveling to see patients.

This position is responsible for Speech-Language Pathology Therapy (SLP) evaluations and implementation of the Speech Therapy plan of care in accordance with PACE policies.

The Speech-Language Pathologist works with the Interdisciplinary Team and is responsible to communicate and coordinate with the IDT as well as multiple outside providers, caregivers and family members.

The SLP Speech Therapist functions independently and may see participants in multiple settings including the PACE center, participant homes, Adult Family Homes, Assisted Living Facilities and nursing homes.

This position will not perform any cognitive assessment but will focus on communication and swallowing issues.

Required Qualifications: * Master's Degree From an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Program.

* Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist License Or * Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist Permit Or * Upon hire: Washington Speech Language Pathologist Temporary License * Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications: * 1 year Experience working as an SLP in a geriatric setting.
