Job Description

Job Summary

Ensures guests have a pleasant and memorable experience at the spa by maintaining smooth operations in the spa locker room and facilities area.

Job Duties

Performs opening job duties to include turning on lights, music, steam room, sauna, etc.

Oversees the operation and daily sanitation of the steam and sauna areas.

Performs general housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming, sweeping and removing trash.

Dusts and straightens furniture.

Performs minor maintenance work.

Monitors the operation of the locker room and facilities area.

Provides robes and shoes to guests at the issuance desk.

Replenishes guest amenities, clothing and towels.

Sets-up and maintains the refreshment areas in the lounge.

Assists with the removal of soiled/clean linen to/from the Housekeeping Department.

Acts as an attendant in the hotel's fitness center as needed.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Customer service or similar work experience preferred but not required

Skills Abilities

Excellent verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk and move about spa throughout shift, bend, kneel, talk, hear, reach, sit, grasp and perform repetitive motions

Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or otherwise move up to 50 lbs.
