Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters and related services on AWS and/or a customer cloud
Use Helm and Operators to automate the deployment and management of applications and resources on Kubernetes
Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes clusters and applications
Implement best practices and standards and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes
Mentor and train other team members on the best practices used for implementing and deploying on Kubernetes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
At least 3 years of experience in Kubernetes and AWS
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes concepts, architecture, and components
Hands-on experience with EKS, Helm, and Operators
Proficient in scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, or Go
Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitLab or GitHub Actions
Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and Grafana
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work remotely and independently
Certification in AWS or Kubernetes is a plus
Experience with Hashicorp Vault Agent is a plus
Experience with Service Mesh and API Gateway is a plus
