Dock 17, a vibrant restaurant located in the heart of Clarksville, TN, is renowned for its fresh, inventive dishes and welcoming atmosphere. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Line Cook to bolster our kitchen brigade. This role presents an excellent opportunity for growth and development within our culinary team, with the chance to evolve into a full-time position. Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

Execute dishes in line with the head chef's requirements and the restaurant's standards.

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.

Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

Ensure the preparation of dishes is timely and of the highest quality.

Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, ensuring equipment is clean, and taking out the trash.

Assist in food and supply inventory management, ensuring everything is properly stocked and stored.

Adhere to kitchen safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Support the kitchen team in daily tasks, contributing to menu development and execution.

Engage in ongoing training and workshops to refine skills and techniques.

Requirements:

No formal education is required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Previous experience as a line cook is highly desirable, but training will be provided for those with a strong interest and foundational kitchen skills.

A fervent interest in culinary arts and ambition to advance in the food service industry.

Capacity to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Team-oriented with outstanding communication abilities.

Proficiency in English.

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours.

18 years or older
