Retail and Wholesale Parts Associate

Now hiring for our Manassas, VA location... Our customers call us to purchase parts and accessories for their trucks and other business equipment. If you are Bilingual (English/Spanish), have sales and service experience in a busy Auto Parts or Hardware store environment - it will be a big plus and you could be a good fit for this job.

This is a great next career step from a regular retail job. Our customers are mostly small business owners needing your help to find the correct item when they call in or pick up items in our store.

VARCo Industrial Supply is a fun family owned industrial supply warehouse that has grown tremendously over the past 15 years. We have been serving our customers for over 50 years and looking forward to our next 50 years. Headquartered in Virginia, we also have locations in Arkansas and Ohio.

We only hire top quality people and do not hire job jumpers so if you have had 5 jobs in 1 year, this is not the place for you. You must also have PERFECT attendance since we work hard and play hard but we DO NOT miss days here and always start on time. So much so that if you are late or miss a day within your 30 day probationary period you will be terminated.

This Position Will Be Responsible For:

Selling and providing excellent customer service at our sales counter, the phone, through our website varcosupply.com, chat and via email.

Ensuring orders and shipments are accurate and free of errors or issues.

Building picking and shipping items as needed.

Confirm fitment, size and color of requested items.

Job Requirements:

Excellent phone communication skills.

Good typing and keyboarding skills.

Ability to count accurately, do simple math and write legibly.

Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines and assigned order times.

Extensive attention to detail and quality controls.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check

Bilingual English/Spanish is a MUST.

Starting pay based on experience. Review and raise potential in 90 days along with career path opportunities in a growing company.
