Dry Ice Processor (Full Time) - Vancouver, BC

Primary Purpose:

The Dry-Ice Operator will be responsible in the operation, supervision, and control of various dry-ice processes.

Key Accountabilities:

Maintain the safety, health, and environmental standards of the plant

Cut (dependent on location), pack and prepare dry ice orders for different segments of Dry Ice markets

Load trailers and ship dry ice directly to branches or customers

General Warehouse housekeeping

Filling out required shipping documents

Operate a forklift and electric pallet jack

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Willing to work overtime as needed to meet peak product demands

Flexible schedule as the schedule and shifts may change

Environmental awareness and quality control

Required Qualifications:

Education

High school diploma required or equivalent

Experience

Experience working in an industrial environment is an asset

Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hydraulics is preferred

Physical and Sensory Demands:

Lifting, pushing, pulling heavy objects up to 50 pounds

Must be able to stand for several hours at a time

Working Environment:

Industrial plant production environment
