Multi-site Dermatology Group Seeks Licensed Esthetician

Optima Dermatology is recruiting an experienced part-time Licensed Esthetician to join our growing dermatology and medical aesthetics group in Mentor, OH. You will be supported by exceptional practice managers, clinical support staff, and powerhouse back-office teams, allowing you to focus on providing great patient care.

Position Details:

Responsibilities:

Perform skin analyses and evaluations on clients

Perform non-invasive or minimally invasive services and treatments including but not limited to Broadband Light (BBL), laser hair removal, dermaplanning, Skin Pen Microneedling, HydraFacial, and chemical peels

Perform all services and treatments in accordance with established treatment protocols, scope of practice, organizational policies and procedures, and all other governing standards

Educate clients on all treatment processes including pre-and post-treatment care guidelines, and products to enhance their procedures

Have thorough knowledge of skin care and cosmetic products in order to appropriately develop patient treatment plans

Ensure patient's safety, comfort, and smooth flow of patient care

Accurate charting and clinical documentation of each client

Sustain proficiency through continuous education and training

Collaborate with sales and ops teams to achieve company goals

All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Positive attitude and a team player

Strong listening skills

Team oriented

Knowledge of aesthetic services and treatments

1+ years esthetician experience preferred

Dermatology, plastic surgery, or med spa industry experience is preferred

Excellent customer service skills and bedside manner

Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written)

Well organized, efficient, and able to operate in a busy work environment

Passion for helping patients and providing great care

Communicate with professionalism, honesty, and kindness

Valid Esthetician License in OH
