Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Pediatric Therapy - PRN

Job Summary: Evaluates and treats pediatric patients within the scope of services offered by the department.

Assists manager with educational program and new program development, marketing and promotion.

Performs other duties assigned by department management according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.

Job Knowledge: Knowledge in normal/abnormal neuromotor development, oral motor and feeding therapy for pediatric occupational therapy is preferred.

Requirements : Requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a major in occupational therapy and state licensure with the Louisiana Board of Medical Examiners.

Requires a minimum of two years prior experience as a pediatric occupational therapist.

Must have experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Neurodevelopment therapy experience is preferred.

Orthopedic and neurological disorder experience preferred for pediatric occupational therapy.

Membership in AOTA is preferred.

Hours: PRN Pay Range: $33.54 - $49.89
