POSITION SUMMARY
We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Hair Salon Stylist in the DuPage Care Center. This position will provide salon services to Care Center residents and manage the salon operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities:
Oversees the daily operations of the Care Center Hair Salon
Schedules and manages appointments for residents
Orders and maintains salon supplies and equipment (e.g., combs, linens, hair products, etc.)
Provides hair services (e.g., shampoos, sets, cuts, permanents, scalp treatments) both in the salon and on the units
Provides bed bound services in the resident's room when needed
Creates and implements policy and procedure that are compliant with IDPH guidelines related to Hair Salon services and Illinois Cosmetology license
Provides and interprets information regarding salon policies, procedures and services
Manages financial record keeping, inventory, purchasing, revenues and deposits for the Hair Salon operation
Facilitates and maintains appropriate infection control practices
Completes required and ongoing facility training
Maintains regular attendance and punctuality
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Requirements include the following experience or equivalent combination of training and experience:
• Completion of an accredited program in Cosmetology
• Four (4) years of experience as a hair stylist
• Must possess and maintain in good standing a valid Illinois Cosmetology License
A post offer physical is required.
A pre-employment background check is required
