Summary

This is a full-time position that is responsible for assisting the Treasury Department in processing timely and accurate financial information and associated reports of multiple companies on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis while following department procedures and written/verbal instruction to process cash transactions, and record cash information and review new ACH setups. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Payments

Printing check from Oracle, E21, Excalibur and WolfPack

Prepares checks to be distributed/mailing; attaching documents when needed.

Sends out ACH forms with check.

Clears checks & ACHs daily in Oracle.

Runs the daily ACH process for companies on Oracle.

Deposits

Sorts checks from the morning mail, runs 10-key tape on the checks, and scans checks to respective accounting departments.

Daily processing of checks for bank deposits, using remote deposit capture, as they are returned by the accounting department.

Posts accounts receivable daily deposits and other receipts to, E21, Excalibur and Oracle.

Update spreadsheet of large deposit form, daily.

Provides support to other employees when there are questions about deposits.

Balancing/Reporting

Balances cash report with other Cash Office personnel.

Prepares and distributes end of day cash reports to various files and supervisor.

Reviews ACH setups.

Provides monthly statements to the accounting department, each month.

Provides support to other employees when there are questions about cash reports.

Office Support

Provides back-up to other Cash Office personnel.

Meets regular deadlines per Cash Office procedures and/or verbal instructions provided for handling exceptions.

Performs routine typing, filing, and telephone work.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A high school diploma with one to two (1-2) years of experience in an office support function; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Must have good data entry skills, strong attention to details, be able to produce accurate work within regular deadlines, and manage time effectively.

Working knowledge of office automation and computerized financial applications.

Working knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft software; Word, Excel and Outlook.

Must have the ability to use computer, 10-key by touch, copier, scanner, fax machine, and shredder.

English language fluency, verbal and written.

Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
