Position Title: Faculty -Adjunct -Food, Pharma & Healthcare ( Food MKT Online or On-Campus) Full Time or Part Time Status: Part-Time, Temporary If Part Time, hours per week: 3-12 Hours per week If temporary, please provide a start and end date: Semester by Semester Job Type: No Response Position Summary or Faculty Qualifications The Department of Food, Pharma & Healthcare Admin in the Haub School of Business at Saint Joseph's University invites applications for a non-tenure-track, renewable semester-to-semester, Adjunct faculty commencing January 2024.

Ideal candidates will possess a Master's, Ph.D., or Terminal degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a closely related field with prior work experience.

Candidates with teaching experience in graduate and undergraduate Food Marketing courses are highly desirable; courses will be on campus or online.

Candidates with clear evidence of teaching excellence and student engagement are preferred.

Food Marketing at SJU is the only business school academic department offering undergraduate, graduate, executive, and continuing education.

The Food Marketing Department is in the Erivan K.

Haub School of Business, is internationally accredited by AACSB, and has been an operating program for over 50 years.

The department was rated as the 11th best food marketing Master's program in the world by Eduniversal, and the undergraduate was ranked 7th in marketing programs by US News (which included all the Haub specialty marketing programs such as food marketing/) The Academy of Food Marketing supports the department, which provides financial support for undergraduate and graduate students.

Traditionally, 100% of our food marketing graduates often have job offers before the school year ends.

The department offers BS, MS, and MBA degrees in food marketing and delivers non-degree education for the industry at domestic and international venues.

The Food Marketing faculty researched and lectured extensively regarding the food industry in the areas of consumer behavior, marketing strategy, food policy and sustainability, retailing channels, promotion, advertising, and communications.

Applicants with research expertise in food marketing and a demonstrated involvement with the food industry are encouraged to apply.

Showing peer-reviewed academic research in food marketing is essential, and writing in the food trade press and attending food trade conventions is a positive.

Duties and Responsibilities: Teaching of a specified course Preparation of materials and online learning assignments (in Canvas) Providing support and guidance to students Advising students Report grades Secondary Responsibilities: Cooperating with course coordinators or other program faculty to assure quality and consistency across the program.

Cooperating in program assessments.

Minimum Requirements: Master's Degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a closely related major with meaningful experience in management and/or consulting.

Meaningful experience teaching Food Marketing at the university level.

Willingness to teach multiple courses across multiple programs.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D., or Terminal Degree in Marketing, Agribusiness, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

Significant experience in Food Marketing and/or consulting.

Teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels in an on-campus course.
