The Pet Care Lead will create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. The Pet Care Specialist is responsible for caring for the pets with compassion. Pet Care Specialists can include provide various types of care to animals including feeding, monitoring, exercising, training, etc.

Job Responsibilities

Set clear team goals

Delegate tasks and set deadlines

Oversee day-to-day operation of play groups

Monitor guests and administer medication

Motivate team members

Discover training needs and provide coaching

Resolve any emergency situations

Facilitate the completion of extra services

Open and Close the facility

Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Ability to lead large groups of employees

Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to multi-task

Attention to detail and ability to observe animal behaviors daily

Operate basic computer software

Flexible schedule including nights/weekend/holidays

Previous animal care experience preferred

Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds

Ability to stand up to 8 hours

Pay Rate - $12 to $16 (hourly)
