Pet Care Lead

This position is responsible for maintaining and exceeding Customer expectations by successfully completing these Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

Set clear team goals

Delegate tasks and set deadlines

Oversee day-to-day operation of play groups

Monitor guests and administer medication

Motivate team members

Discover training needs and provide coaching

Resolve any emergency situations

Facilitate the completion of extra services

Open and Close the facility

Other duties as assigned

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Previous animal care experience

Ability to lead large groups of employees

Desire to work in a fast-pace environment; ability to multi-task

Attention to detail and ability to observe animal behaviors on a daily basis

Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds

Ability to stand up to 8 hours

Operate basic computer software

Flexible schedule including nights/weekend/holidays

Pay Rate - $12.00 to 16.00 (hourly)
