Therapist

Status: Full Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Summary of the Position: Therapist will provide therapeutic support to children and caregivers as needed and outlined in Individualized Service Plans (ISP). Therapist will serve as YAP's primary point person on the ISP team for assisting in creating a behavior management plan for the child with the other members of the ISP team.

Knowledge of substance abuse and/or domestic violence is preferred.

Serve in Intensive In-Home Services for Cullman, Guntersville, Oneonta, Gadsden, Decatur, Scottsboro, and Fort Payne Qualifications/Requirements: Must have a Valid Licensure to practice counseling in Alabama.

LCSW, LGSW, ALC, and/or LPC from a college or university.

Master's Degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling with five (5) years of proven post-master's experience in family and children's services.

Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
