Your Key Responsibilities

Develop software requirements, specification and validation criteria for high quality research using combinations of prototype testings/experiments, sensors, mechanical simulations to develop fully functional prototypes.

Expected to cater time and resources to support research and development activities and to support project management for SHARE at NTU research projects.

Adopt business needs and participate in virtual platform development, from ideation to deployment and beyond. The incumbent will work on ground-breaking platform features, issues and improvements.

Collaborate with other UI/UX/Industrial designer to design interactive digital media, understand user motivations, and optimize systems and features to deliver the desired user experience.

Create clear and effective interaction design documentation, present designs of features and/or platform in concert with project teams;

Create animation, short videos, social media, interactive applications to promote digitalization within the organization, programming, mixed reality application development.

Your Qualifications

Undertaking Degree in Computer or Software Engineering with experience in Information System, Information Security, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things Multimedia, or Interactive Digital Media

C++ programming, java programming, software design, production and project management, production pipeline scripting, Mobile Apps programming, Mixed reality application development and technical direction techniques.

Intuitive understanding and interest in virtual platform development and UX design;

Experience in the creation of dashboards, visualization, features and systems is preferred, knowledge in software design documentation, specs, user flows is plus;

Software prototyping experience is added advantages;

Comfortable working within cross-discipline teams.

Able to transform ideas into requirements towards product design and is able to transform new ideas beyond state of the art in the field of new industrial robot concepts for Industrial Collaborative Robotics, Automated Mobile Robot Platforms, and IoT for Smart Factory Applications.

Master's students are encouraged to apply. We are looking for our intern to start this Fall, August to December 2024. Applicants based in Singapore will be given priority.
