Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Sterling, VA for a Senior CNC Machinist. The CNC Senior Machinist will be responsible for performing day-to-day machining tasks, including operating and maintaining machines, interpreting manufacturing documentation, and producing high-quality precision parts. The Senior Machinist will also collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure efficient production processes.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in machining

Experience with CAD (Solidworks preferred)

Experience with CAM

Experience working in a high-mix production environment

Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings

Knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset

Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and meet production deadlines

Experience working in the defense industry is strongly preferred
