Senior Business Development Executive

Results Learning, LLC - Aurora, CO

Salary: $90,000 a year + commission (no cap)

Job Type: Full-time

As the Partnership Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our growth and influence. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate fresh business prospects by engaging with principals, community liaisons, and district-level administrators in the Colorado/Denver Metro area, as well as select rural school districts. Additionally, you will support school sales in various states, with up to 20% travel required. We're seeking a dynamic individual who excels in relationship-building to drive sales.

Identifies new opportunities for the company to expand its services or improve its offerings.

Build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including educational partners, suppliers, and community organizations. Develop and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders including principals, district-level administrators, and community liaisons. Your ability to quickly establish credibility will be crucial in these efforts.

Actively identify and seize new opportunities to expand our educational services and offerings, focusing particularly on the special education sector and Title I services.

Initiate contact and cultivate partnerships with school district leaders across the Colorado/Denver Metro area and selected rural districts to open new channels for business development.

Represent Results Learning at school and district events by volunteering and actively participating, thereby enhancing our community relations and visibility.

Conduct visits to potential and current clients, including necessary out-of-state travel. Your proactive presence in schools to foster relationships and gather insights will be key to developing tailored solutions.

What we are looking for when selecting top candidates:

Established Industry Network: Possess a pre-existing network of contacts within the educational sector, including relationships with school administrators, district leaders, and community stakeholders. This network should be leveraged to accelerate access to new business opportunities and to facilitate strategic partnerships effectively.

Industry Knowledge: Bring a solid understanding of the educational landscape, especially around special education and interventions for economically disadvantaged students.

Sales Expertise: Demonstrate a proven track record in direct sales with the ability to close deals effectively, backed by strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Mobility and Flexibility: Be willing and able to travel within your assigned region and occasionally beyond, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in direct sales within the education sector.

Strong understanding of education, especially in special education and Title I services.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to quickly establish credibility and relationships.

Willingness to travel within the assigned region and occasionally out-of-state.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
